Passage from Mag Bay to Cabo

On Saturday, the five of us went from mag Bay to San Jose de Cabo. It was a short passage one day, one night, and half a day. Mag Bay is a bay with some islands in it. We stayed in Man of War Cove and anchored. There was a long white sand beach with a few dunes. There was a mangrove forest next to the beach. It had a lot of water in it. Mangroves are unique plants because they have roots growing above the water. They give them oxygen because they cannot get it in salt water. Mag Bay was quite cool but there were a lot of buoys at the entrance to it. That is bad because they can get caught in your propeller. After we left Mag Bay, it was very barren until we got close to the turn where it turns to Cabo San Lucas. When we got to the corner there was lots of wildlife like whales and dolphins. We also saw one sea turtle. They were cool. We got to San Jose de Cabo at the bottom of the Baja peninsula. We got there and stopped at the fuel dock to get fuel. Then we went to B dock and docked. The marina is a mile away from town on the outskirts of town. There is a hotel here, a beautiful beach and a few restaurants. It was a fun passage and San Juan de Cabo is really cool. By Holden
