Newport, Oregon

After an exciting couple of months, we arrived in Newport, Oregon this morning right after sunrise. We left Seattle on Saturday, August 20th and spent the night in Port Angeles. With a favorable weather window for the next couple of days, we set off from Port Angeles early on Sunday, August 21st.

A little over 48 hours and 300 nautical miles later we arrived in Newport. Whole team did a great job getting here. We all got to spend good time together learning the boat, getting to know each other, and seeing all sorts of magical things like whales, sea otters, and the magnificent coastlines of Washington and Oregon.
